Keyless Entry Systems
These systems are synchronized to back-end software, allowing landlords to monitor entry and exit. These systems are synced with back-end software, allowing landlords to track the entry and exit of tenants. Furthermore these systems make it easier for tenants to enter the property in the event of a crisis.
Keyless entry systems work by transmitting encrypted signals to the receiver inside the car. The receiver interprets the signal and unlocks or begins your car. It can also detect the presence of an individual driver and adjust settings to accommodate their needs. For example, if a driver is carrying a bag in their hands, the system will recognize this and automatically close the doors.
While most keyless entry systems are secure, some are susceptible to attack. For instance the term replay attack refers to where the original remote control signal is recorded and repeated to the device at a later point. This can be prevented by incorporating an algorithm into the keyless entry system to ensure that each transmission is distinct from previous ones.
Another advantage of a keyless entry system is that it doesn't require changing locks after each tenant's turnover. It's costly to change locks following every turnover of a tenant, so it makes sense that landlords try to avoid this expense as much as possible. If you have a keyless system, all you have to do is reset the code. This is a lot quicker and simpler than replacing the lock.
